Just wanted to see what else was out there. you can use irc chat, you need a software to connect to it like mirc, then create account and connect to irc highway then enter to the channel called ebooks and there you can search for the book you want. downloading from archive is a legal way like borrowing a book from public library, it have all sort of books, you just need adobe digital edition software and a free account sign up, after you downloaded the book you cannot open it in another software other than digital edition, because it is copyrighted by drm, just use a software to remove drm and there you go.
to download books from issu, you need a 3rd party sites which let you download the file, just copy the link from issu to this 3rd party site and there you go, google search issu downloader and choose from the list a site. there is also usenet which you download a software to search usenet, but in order to creat an account you have to pay for subscription. there is also private torrent tracker like myanonamouse and bibliotik but you need an invitation to enter such sites.
Great comment I used dlfeb. com for links from avax but then it suddenly stopped working and the owner put a note saying too much traffic but it doesn't work whenever I try. alemdar leech is good for some links but certain links do not work it's difficult to get the link with too many popups dlfeb I really miss avax has a great collection.
